Wow. Just wow.
Two weeks ago, Pretty Little Liars dropped a bombshell on their watchers when they FINALLY revealed who ‘A’ was on the show!
If you’re not all caught up yet or haven’t heard, it was quite the twist, and there are *SPOILERS* beyond this point!

In the finale, the show revealed the character of “A” to be Charles, who is now known as Charlotte — a transgender woman!
This of course caused plenty of controversy and was discussed by many people whether the show was taking advantage of the topic that had gained attention recently.
Well yesterday, whoever is in charge of the social media for PLL tweeted out something EXTREMELY offensive to their transgender fans. They tweeted:
The inclusion of the word “It” is obviously what everyone was taking offense to and rightfully so!
Thankfully the tweet was deleted shortly after posting — most likely because of the backlash it received online.
The creator of PLL, I. Marlene King, took to Instagram to help clear things up by condemning the post while letting us know:
It still doesn’t make up for the fact that this asinine and hurtful message was sent out and did some damage, but we’re glad to know that the creator hates it just as much as we do!
Something tells us someone is going to lose their social media job…
